This year I've caught more bass though the ice than any other winter.
In my normal pike hunting spots, I've been catching bass; and BIG bass at that, my last bass being 21.5 inches and 5.35 lbs.
I'm wondering if the unseasonal warm weather has kept the big pike in the deeper water and the big bass in the shallows.
Anyone else seeing unusual fish behavior this winter?

I saw on another site where some guys were catching unusually big bass through the ice.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!
