Greeting again from The wild west. Weather man is saying rain and snow for this weekend here in Wyoming. I say come on ice fishing. Maybe the ice fishing will be better than the fall fishing was. Then again maybe it was just my luck as usual with nothing caught.

Just do me a favor and keep the snow out there. We don't want it here in the east.

Rain is here this morning...and wet snow also has begun to fall this morning. It's about the 3rd time this fall we've had wet snow fall, so it's not far off. Time to winterize the snowmachines and fire up the ice auger!

Well the deck and grass was white this morning and the roads got icy. Lake effect possible tonight.

Sounds more and more like early winter than fall, eh Wellsley? However, the almanac around here calls for mild weather through to the end of November. Considering we are always ice fishing by the first weekend in December, that doesn't sound right...?
