Hi All,
We are adding this thread to the board to incorporate all your suggestions or feedback you may have for the new forums. We will review your comments/suggestions and add it to this list, then review what can be done to accommodate them. The posts will not appear, as we want to keep this thread to a manageable size, so we will add your suggestion and your name if you wish to this list and take it from there:
Thanks everyone!

Well, looks like after jumping through far too many e-hoops I'm finally able to post. Here are my suggestions for the new site/forum. 1/ Send an email to ALL members with specific steps to follow (links included) in order to make the transition from old to new forum. 2/ Take out the "Post Anonymous" feature at the top of the Post Reply window. It's far too easy to take pot shots at other members when you can do it anonymously. 3/ The change was needed and looks great. You just need to work out some bugs as fas as I can tell. Chad Chad T. It seems to be working better every day. There seem to be more available functions when posting, much like MS Word. I like the look and I am anxious to see the chat room when you put it in. Be Fishers of People.

Actually...All I have to say is that you should not have changed the format to the Forum as much as you did. Evidently the person that you have doing your Websites does not take into consideration that "MOST" of the members are in the 50 years old++++ Range . Please reconsider changing the Forum back to the old format. The Home page is great but it is hard for some of us including myself to understand just how to post or even navigate on the new forum site. Sometimes change is good. However in this case you really fouled things up. Get a new softwear writer. Evidently the one you have does not understand your members needs. He/she needs to find a new job. Because if this site is better then I'm outta here!!!!!!! Sorry for being so straight forward....Paul Johnson, Life Member since 1999..... |

After checking it all out, "I like it". It will take a little getting use to, but it should all work out. One thing I would like to see is more items listed in the store. I would really like to get some more Life Member patches and decals. I am also very interested in buying a Life Member jacket and seeing about a LM ring. You all did a great job as far as I'm concerned. Thank you. bayliner Jim "NAFC LIFE MEMBER" |

This isn't better, just different. You should have tested it first while the old program was still up. I can't do the click and win, or prise giveaways. The system keeps logging me out when I click the icon. Your Web guys need a whack between the eyes for putting something out that is not ready. If this site were a car you would loose tons of money on the recalls. Where is the chat? Where is the PM? Again, whack between the eyes with a big stick for not finishing before fielding. Jim

If you ever do this again it would be a good idea to get a couple of the people off the board that have been around awhile to help. Then the important stuff would be saved, and where it could be found, and the garbage could be removed. Regulars here, someone who has a clue. Life member 98 .

I find it harder to browse through the topics. Maybe you could shade every other row...sort of like a bankers ledger. When you enter a category, the text for the topics is very small. Either enlarge it of make it bold...along with shading every other row. |

It's turkey day and I'm at my brothers. I logged into the site and went to the forums. Most are showing an exception and won't navigate. I think it is time you hire some professional web developers to fix this. Those High School kids just are not cutting it at this level. Here are the key words- DEVELOP and TEST, DEVELOP and TEST. Only field when 90% or better works 100% of the time. Still can't log in to the contests. When I click the link to the page it tells me to log in again. I login and then it does it all over again. 1. Fix the "Search" feature. It flat out doesn't work. 2. Fix the Topics that were transferred over from the "Old" BB that were "chopped off". A prime example of this is the "River Fishing - A Slightly Different World" topic we had im Member's Tip. If nothing else, give several of us access to the "Old BB" so that we can copy the Topic Threads and repaste them. 3. Have a "group PM" option. 4. Several folks are asking about a "Chat Room". 5. Fix the "Notifications" feature. It hasn't been enabled. And finally....make a couple of posts to show that you folks actually give a crap about our concerns. At this point, most everything you have done appears self-centered to a majority of people. If you need help, email me at davesett2000@yahoo.com I do software QA for a living. It would be a good idea to put the Customer Service Telephone number on the top of the main page. A good spot for it would be in the green/gray horizontal area. Looking for the number through our kit paperwork is a real pain in the neck. Please put the chat back too.... Gone Fishin', Take A Number !!!! |

Well,... I can see your all doing a "Bang-up" job over here as well !! Nothing works on this site just like over on the NAHC boards !! No answers to the members questions on this thread as well. Why didn't you just LEAVE the forums boards ALONE ?? You didn't need and try to improve something that was working just fine ! Both these new websites your trying to construct for the NAHC and NAFC are lousy,... and don't function worth a damn. |

we need to be able to delete are picutres from the archive, these pictures were posted to share, but at are disscrestion not yours! is there a way to delete these post/pix? we do not need alot of things stored in the archives, such as, the song game, the or game, and many others, its a waste of memerory.... also if the club would of said they need'd more space we(the club in the club) could of deledted tons of post from the last BB,it could of ran for a few more years that way.(saving tons of money and members) if you ask us to delete are post to save money, less money would be spent on a $50+(if not more then he is gitting screwd too) hour computer guy to sit and re~post meaning less post, but then he dosent know what to keep, and goes and drops are best INFO post, but no one ask go figure.... so please dont ask me to reknew a member ship, if you don't listen to us, why would we care to listen back.... we are people, treat us that way and give us a share in the club, don't bop us with it! to me,"sorry" is for something you didn't mean to do, you guys seen this coming years in advance so no sorry need'd now!!!!!!!! |

Problem # 1 : Why does it take 5 to 10 minutes for a page to load and by the time the page loads when i'm trying to log-in or post, I get an error message that says "Your session has timed out" and I have to log-in all over again. That happens about 80 % of the time while I am on here. Problem # 2 : Why won't it let me use my original username from the old bulletin board which is : BigDog68 ? I emailed member services and told them about the problem and they emailed me back and said that someone had already registered on the new bulletin board with that name. That cannot be true because I still can log into the temporary forum with that username. I'm beginning to wonder how many Blondes are working in the office....LOL... My username is supposed to be BigDog68, not : Leisure Jr... Problem # 3 : Where's the Smiley's ? Problem # 4 : Where is the "Private Messages" ? Problem # 5 : Where are all of the members that were on the old forum ? Problem # 6 : Why was there no advance notice to club members about shutting down the old forum/bulletin board so important information could be saved before it got lost ? NAFC Life Member

I can't imagine that you're receiving very many positive responses. Many of us tried to tell you what a mess you were making after seeing what happened over on the Hunting Club side, but obviously no one really listens. You all have been sold a bill of goods by "someone" and the person with the most horsepower bought it.
A simple check of the traffic will bear me out on this. You really screwed up something that was working. Its sad because so many of us have established friendships on the forum.
Not only is it poorly contrived but the work is sloppy. Look at the intro on the home page. It is copied verbatim from the Hunting Club. It even says so!
Please put things back the way they were and leave well enough alone.

Please finish the areas that are not functioning properly. Personal messaging should be put back, as well as the chat room. Also a way to pay club dues and other purchases online would be great. There have been numerous complaints about the site not being ready. These are accurate complaints. As a former Webmaster and I.T. Director, I would never have allowed a site with as many non-working areas as this one to have been published. You should have tested every page first or posted a link for members to help identify the problem areas before taking the old site down and replacing it with this one. I am wondering when the site will be "fully operationa;"? That is PM's., chat room, editing of profile to select an avatar? Also, when a reply to a post is added, why do you have the thread going back to page #1 of the thread? Under the old site, it would go to the most recent post. Why can't this site be set up this way? It is discouraging to have to go from page one to the last page of the post every time you want to add a reply. Surely this would not be hard to correct. A response to this would be greatlty appreciated. "Doc"

Could you please reword this paragraf on the community home page to read fishing club. here's what you have now: Ask a fishermen Got a question? Just ask one. Got an answer? Even better. Your fellow members are an invaluable source of Hunting information, tips, and knowledge. Ask your question here and, rest assured, one of our great Hunting Club members will be able to shed some light on your question

Thank you for your help on my last reply here.... If at all posible could you add a section to the New members store showing the merchandise that members can purchase from the Club like Hats, Tshirts, Rings, patches, window decals, books, videos, etc that have the Club logo.. When we discussed /asked for a members store on the old BB these are the things members are looking for.. I know you would make alot of the negative posters to the new BB happy if you just post pictures of the merchandise with prices , so when they contact members services to place a order they know what they want and what they will be getting.. Thank you for all your help

Hi All,
We know some folks who are on dial-up are having severe speed issues, and we are working to develop a solution. The site was designed to contain video, flash, and other dynamic content. The problem with that is some folks are using dial-up internet connections. So we are exploring a way of offering an alternative viewing mode of the site that is less graphical, more the “nuts and bolts” version, that will move faster for those on dial up. In the meantime we may also remove the ads on the Forums in order to keep that page up to speed.
Thanks!

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE ! do something with the online store. Either stock it with the club merchandise we asked for or remove it , it is not serving any purpose as is except to make a joke out of your efforts. tom If satan is knocking at your door.
Just ask Jesus , would you get that for me ?

I have dial up and apreciate your effort to help us out .. when the new site came online it took about 2 to 3 minutes to load a page and I could not view the videos on the home page after reading your reply last night ... I upgraded my computer to the latest versions of flash &java script available for my operating system today most all the pages are running under 1 minute ....... the video clip on the home page takes about 10 minutes to load but I can at least view it.. you might want to bring up/ mention to the members with older systems to make sure they have the latest upgrades. thank you .

That would be a good start....but at this point, there's several topics that we can't even post to anymore. Hopefully...you folks can address that...as we shouldn't have to start topics all over again (Gwinn Meet topic and Lure Collecting(2) are good examples) Thanks for FINALLY posting some feedback...as a good number of us are DREADFULLY frustrated (sad face) Life Member David BB Linkmeister

Hi All,
To follow up with some comments from some of you:
I will take a look at the Gwinn Meet topic, and Lure Collecting (2) topic for the posting issues and get back to you. Not sure what the issue could be.
Last post button is being worked on, as is a notification (like having a logo change colors) to let you know when there is a new post since your last visit. Its part of a larger upgrade, so I don’t have a definitive time frame for it, but it should be soon.
I have had many, many requests for a full blown “Member Store”, and we do have that as one of our goals. That is a pretty huge project, and there is a vast e-commerce infrastructure we have to set up on the back end before we can make that happen. But, its in the works, and I see it’s a hugely popular idea, because I have received more requests for that than anything else. Its coming.
Also, I wanted to share a bit of advice on the speed issue for dial-up users from a fellow member, Rod Tender. Rod is on dial-up, and was having major speed issues as well. He went and made sure he downloaded the latest versions of java and flash, and his load times dropped from several minutes to under a minute… and he is able to watch video even on dial-up, but has to allow the video to fully load before playing. We are still working on an alternative, but Rod’s advice was something I don’t believe I mentioned before, and it was good advice, so I wanted to pass it along. Thanks Rod!
Thanks everyone!

I have been a member since 1992 and a life member since 1999. I have used the NAFC BB since 2005 and enjoyed many hours chating with fellow fishermen. I have since the middle of November been very annoyed with the BB and find myself chating with the same fishermen in other places on the web. Whomever changed the board and built this new site, I believe had no idea how we as fishermen used this BB. We now get kicked off (Oh by the way I use high speed satalite) and should have no problem with any part of this website, but like many others I keep getting ERROR pages and am not allowed to enter. As well as having to sign on "Everytime I use the site, which is a real pain" also the way you have to do the contests has changed. We are not all web genius's. But whomever wrote this new site was not either. I realize my spelling and grammar is not perfect but hope I got my point accross. Lets get with it and go back to the OLD WAY.. Once again change is not always a good thing. Paul Johnson, LM# 90118056. Guys Actually putting Official NAFC items in the member store makes a lot more sense and would please the members more than ads for other sites. We don't want to buy thier stuff from our site, we want to buy our NAFC stuff from our site. Gone Fishin', Take A Number !!!! |

I TRUELY APRECIATE THE CLUB ANSWERING US!!!!!! What you wrote made me feel like someone is listening, but we have heard this befor, and we waited befor, why would the store be such a problem with a membership this big? Does the big guy realize that we are proud to promote the companys that supports our club? Does the big guy realize that we buy these produts every day? We more than support everything that made us a CLUB? All we asked was something we could be proud of for doing all the above??? Maybee what you created can not happen, maybee, we dident realize this thing we called OUR CLUB WAS NOT OURS? Can you post a better reason why the guy befor you lied to us? And can you look a man strait in the eyes and tell him the truth????? I gues we will see,,, i know i will,,,,, jim |

Hi All,
I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year!
Quick Update:
- “Ask a Fisherman” should be coming down next week. We have been ready to pull it for 2 weeks, but didn’t want to pull anything in case it bonked out the forums during the holiday break, and no one would be around to fix it. So, it should be completed early next week.
- Overall speed update- We tested pulling the ads, and that saves between 7-14 seconds for those on dial-up, not great, but still significant enough to pull them. We are also running a compression tool to compress some of the html, and we are looking at scaling back the Flash files to speed up the site in general. This will give anywhere from a 25-50% lift in speed, which I hope helps a lot. The goal is to have that done by the 11th, so essentially next week, though this will take more testing before moving live and that could delay it. Just want to be up front about that.
That’s it for now, I will update again next week!
Thanks!

We appreciate the update and look forward to your up coming progress reports THANK YOU !! Question; when you said you plan to pull the new ask a fisherman thread are you talking eliminating it for good ??? or just redoing it ??? Reason I ask is there are alot of new members asking fishing related questions I know there are alot of negative posts as well and I agree if thats your incentive for pulling it so be it. Thank you for all your help with questions I have sent in If I can help out in any way feel free to contact me peachyk@vbe.com Jerry K.

Whats up with "ask a fisherman" You move it but it`s just one continues thread. Can`t start a new topic. How do you expect anyone to find anything? Well i guess thats one way to get our negative remarks off the front page. Wonder where we will put them now. Decisions decisions. / |

I really believe that it doesn't matter what we say here. From what I see and from what I hear back you all are going to do it your way no matter what we as club members suggest. I am starting to think that my Life Membership means nothing at all except money in someones pocket. Instead of starting a complete new site the should have considered cleaning up the clutter in the old one. I believe that we that use this site would have understood that. This site is just a complete mess. NAFC Life Member Since 1999, US Army MSG Retired 66-88, Vietnam Vet 66-69, Purple Heart (11-9-68) "Petri Heil" (7,450 Posts on Old NAFC BB) |

Good Morning Fishing club. I , and I guess others may too. The ability to see the video's that are posted loads on my system only a few seconds at a time. Then i wait for the next few seconds of video to load. I called my internet provider (wisper wireless) to ask what the problem may be. I have wireless connection and for most everything it works very well. My internet speed is 384/256k And this may not be fast enough to run these programs without stopping to down load more data. The program I have been trying to see (KNOT WARS) is an example of the problem. My provider asked if you could change the program so I could down load it and then view it ? I could upgrade my service for an additional cost to 768/384k But if you could change the method that it is sent in that would be a great help. and save me and other Members the added cost. thanks for your help Life Member Dave Morgan |

I think things are finally starting to come around. Im' thankful that the members are returning to the site. Keep making your adjustments and working for the better and the members will do the rest to strengthen " THE FAMILY" of fishing. I do have one suggestion for you'all. How would you feel about giving away one free Life Membership a year to someone less fortunate or deserving that status. Possibally select a certain number of members to vote as part of the selection process ( chosen randomly by member # . ?) Have members nominate who should recieve it ? Just one more way to show appreciation for your clubs members ! Thanks, Joseph Gassman NAFC Life member since 1994, member NRA/ILA ,FMCA, NAFF,Veteran (73-89) extreme survivalist and Redneck. Hello NAFC... I think it would be great if the external links we can put into our posts would open into a new tab (or window) rather than over the existing one. Just food for thought.... :) Thank God my father taught me to fish!!!

Fisherman: Politics should be included in this forum, if you live in NJ where they want to stop fishing altogether by PETA with state congressman help (which were booted out) they start by chipping at the small statements and it grows like scum on the pond. Beleive me your state will be next if they get a foot hold in NJ. Remember how much trouble the NRA had. |

Why are some of the posts spread all the way across the page so that the advertisements (which already take up a third or the page) cover half of the post........just wondering.

I don't know how many others are having this problem but when I go into the Life Member Only forum and click on what they are saying, the "Mossyoak.com" advertisement covers the right-hand part of the page and covers up quite a bit of what the members are posting. Any way to correct this problem? Thanks.

This site has had awfully slow response time ever since the change. The last two days -- it has been just plain ridiculous. I'm not coming here as much as I used to because I'm tired of waiting and tired of the text being overwritten by adds so that I can't read the posts. . . .
I've been patient but it has been long enough for these problems to be repaired. By the way -- I'm on DSL not dial up. This is just awful!

Just a personal opinion, if you treat us like members instead of subjects you would have a lot more happy fisher people around here. Try talking to us. I think we all want the same thing you do, the best site posible. But if you chase all the members away in the process what good is it. / |

Hi, I am having speed problems as well, I do have the latest flash installed, but, I use dial-up. I also really miss the old daily and weekly e-mail digests that I could respond to just by logging in instead of having to first go to the website and then log in. If you do launch an alternative site for those with dial-up, could you please bring back the old e-mail digests system? I'm sure many others would like that as well! thankyou for your time and attention! Sincerely, Panfishnut-Robert Butler |

When looking at threads or posts in the forum THE ADVERTISING ON THE RIGHT SIDE sometimes overlaps the thread or post area of the page. This makes reading someones posts impossible at times. Its a roll of the dice if I can read a 3rd of the posts. Its has happened from the git' go since these new forums have started. PLEASE FIX THIS, thank you for your time and effort in this...

Good morning from the great Norhwest. There are a couple things I would like to suggest. Maybe switch the toggle when you reply to a thread. As it is now, it jumps you back to the very first post. Maybe you can switch it to go to the end? Maybe have a last post button by the page numbers. Many of the topics ( ie: the "or" game, Good morning, etc) you need to go to the end to see how to respond. Also, I'd kind of like to know who is online when I get here. You can guess by looking at who posted last in each topic, but that is somewhat cumbersome and only a guess. I'm on dial up, so jumping around is slow anyway no matter which web site I might be on. As an Engineer, continuous improvement has been a way of life for me. Thanks in advance, JustDave

As you've probably already noticed we've removed the ads on the right hand side of the forums. In some browsers the ads were overlapping posts, particularly if someone posted an oversized photo or a long line of unbreakable text (like a long hyperlink). Many folks also complained that the ads were distracting.
So...we have removed the ads from the right hand side and expanded the width of the forum so that the readable portion takes up more of the screen.

I have not logged on here for a long time (months). Frankly, this new board sucks. I'm on DSL and it is excruciatingly slow. Secondly, if I switch from one area to another I have to log in again EVERY time I switch. I can't sign up for any of the contests because when I do i get the "Members Only" message even tho I am already signed in. Is there any way at all we can go back to the old board? At least it weorked.

It is not just dial-ups that have problems. This website is so slow. Please defrag the server, add more memory and buy some bandwidth. I am a Network Administrator for a not for profit organization and if my website was this bad, I'd be looking for a new job. And we do not have much $$ to invest in our website. If the site don't improve, you won't have my few bucks for revenue as I will not renew my membership. The website is the straw to brake the camels back here. NAFC needs to start thinking about "customer service" for their customers... us members that is. I am glad I have not invested into a life membership. |

It is a shame what you have done to so many good people. If you ever do take the time to make this place work right there will be no members left. I became a life member in 98, didn`t even know of the BB. In the last couple years it has become the best part of being a member, YES even better than the mag. I like many others am very disappointed and ashamed to be part of the nafc today. This board is why. Five months and it still don`t work right. Well, some folks mentioned a while back you where doing this to get rid of the old timers. If thats true you lost another today. I conceed. It is a shame what you have done to so many good people. It is not just people with dial-up connections who find your site slow. I have a cable connection and the site that I find the slowest is www.fishingclub.com. It took 2 minutes to after I clicked the link to post a reply before this box appeared. I have been a member since 2004 and used to enjoy your website. But, since you changed to this new website I rarely visit. When I used to get your notices for renewal I would always sign-up without doubt. Next billing cycle I am going to give it a lot more thought. |

Hi All,
Just an update on the speed issue… we brought in a consultant to take a look at the new server set up, and he made some suggestions. As some of you have no doubt noticed, the site was down in the early morning hours a couple times this week, and there may be a few more times its down between now and next week as well when we hope to have all the speed issues resolved.
Its actually not a server capacity issue as it may seem. What the issue is, is as a club, we have several databases that have to talk to the website. Typically a website only needs to feed on usernames and passwords. But we have much more member data to communicate with to the site. Specifically we have 3 large databases, and its supposed to feed all on the same server, which we did. However, because they are all trying to pull data in the same location, they start bouncing in to each other, and spiking the CPU, causing the server to tax out at maximum capacity.
What we are doing (at the suggestion of the consultant) is segmenting the one large server in to 3, so each database can get the info it needs within its own home so to speak. This will allow it to communicate with all the databases, but not allow it to bounce in to each other, and bonking out the server. Hope this makes sense.
We are also working on updating the software to include the smiley’s (which we know pleases about half of you, and is dreadful to the other half) so that one is a lose-lose for us. That update also includes a “jump to last post” option, as well as a few other things, but those seem to be the biggest requests. We want to get the speed adjustments done first before taxing the servers any harder with an update to the software, and we still have testing to do of that one on the live server before rolling it out.
Alright, enough boring you.
Thanks all! |

Just a head up : Do you know no one can see your last two updates using the site the normal way. I was told to use the orange box by the "add" post that was the only way I could read the last two updates and I had been trying for over a week. |

Hi All,
Brief update: We made some significant changes to the server configuration, and so far, it seems to have drastically improved the speed. I would like to know if any of you are noticing the same thing? Is it faster? Slower? About the same?
Thanks All! |

Just a suggestion for the HTML guys. Could you make buttons <next> and <previouse> in the forums to scroll between messages and/or pages in the same forum. I'm an Engineer, so I know how these projects go, so my last note is when you get time... Until then my comments are you guys are rock'in and keep building a place for us. Hope you got stock options as this gig is gaining popularity. |

Hey Y'all, Can something be done about ther forums display. On some of the threads I get a normal scren and others I have to scroll sideways to read what is posted because it is too wide for my 22" monitor. Please check this out Another issue is when i'm finished typing a thread response , it takes a long time to see it posted. tom If satan is knocking at your door.
Just ask Jesus , would you get that for me ?

You can remove the ability of individuals to post ANON anytime. They are abusive in their post and need to be identified. NO ONE should have the ability to post to these forums without some way to tell who they are. It gives them the ability to belittle or verbally abuse others and quite frankly its beginning to piss me off. They can post anything they want about me, but they need to leave the others alone. James J Liedtka Jr. See, I'm not a chicken $h1tt. I'll tell you exctly who I am. Jim

I concider the forums one of the greatest benefits of N.A.F.C. membership. I've learned a lot, helped others and been entertained every time I log on. I've made connections with other fishermen in my area. Ienjoy this so much, that I try to log on every day to find out what's happening. Thanks so much. |

Hi All,
A brief update: We are working on the upgrade to the forums, we have it up in test on one of our other sites, here are some screen shots:
New Posts Since Last Visit Alert:

Emoticons are Back:

Go To Last Post:

In addition to these changes, search is getting a drastic overhaul, the ratings system will be completely new, and Private Messages will be able to maintain the formatting with separated paragraphs, bold text, etc.
We are still in testing on the other site, and once we finish the ratings system, and work out any issues, we will start moving it live. I will keep you posted as we get closer, and may ask for a few volunteers to test the forum features.
Thanks all! |

Hi All,
One other note, we can not currently turn off the "Post Anonymous" function, and to be honest, it would do little good because those who use it could (and do) just use the "Registered Guest" function, creating a second alias to post instead. However, those posters are easily identified, and I have asked them to no longer use those other aliases or the anonymous posting, or I would ban their IP's. Please remember this is a freindly community, everyone is here because they have similar interests and values, and we ask that you treat eachother with respect. For most, it goes without saying, for others, it sometimes needs to be reminded.
Thanks Everyone!

Hello All , I just had a few things to say. First of all I think the magazine is great. I just wanted to ask I've the gear give away all the time for the past five or six years but have never won why... Also I've entered to be a field tester for the same amount of time and only been picked once why...Is there a reason why this happens. I've been a life member for eight years know and seem to be look over all the time for these contest. Has this happened to any other life member... |

Hi editors , I have been enjoying reading and posting replies and advise on the forums but I have a question that others have also expressed concern about , and that is about the "ask the editors" forum. The only responses anyone gets there come from other members like myself. If you are not going to respond to members questions and requests why even have this forum ? As things stand now it could just as easily be absorbed into the "ask a fisherman" forum. Thanks for your consideration. Happy fishing. ~N.A.F.C.~B.A.S.S.~BoatU.S.~N.R.A.~A.M.A.~ |

Just a suggestion for a forum topic. COMPLAINTS. It seems a lot of the members are just not happy. Every forum I read, somewhere in the thread is a complaint of some sort. Could there just be a topic specifically for complaints? I also think if someone from the club, the editors, moderators, hell even the club executives could possibly post some replies it may help stem the tide of the unhappy members. Being new to the club, the negativity is really making me wonder if I shouldn't just keep my money and hang out at the sporting goods store in the fishing section. Thanks. Any day on the water or in the woods is solitude itself. |

What have you done? Since the forums changed to a blue background I have been unable to log on as myself. Now I have to log on as a registered guest with a new nuser name. My correct information is; Mister Mystery, member since 1-27-07, 156 posts. What do I have to do to get you to correct my information ? Now I understrand all the members who have expressed their extreme dissatisfaction with N.A.F.C. |

You people are a joke, you don't want honesty on here , you want everyone to think that it's great, well it's not . When I post an honest reply about your service , you don't post it . I have had problem after problem with this site and get no help from Tech services, or anybody else for that matter.Every time I call, I get another excuse about why I can't be helped. I thought life membership would have meant something to y'all, other than just another sucker giving up his money.Well congratulations you got me too, what a total disappointment.
