What site did you get them from? Also, you might want to check to see if they're free to use. I just got them from random sites. Just copy and paste. If they aren't free than you shouldn't be able to do that! And they can sue me if they want. I don't have any money!  And maybe the warmer weather can explain some of the members being gone. But is was dead in the winter too like you said. |

All the animation slows this already slow site down even more. As far as the BS, that is why so many members don't come around, they are skipping the posts |

My point for this post was to try to get other people to post by adding continues, amusing posts. Just to see where everyone was. And as usual, I get a cranky old man every now and then who thinks they know everything but really doesn't... Oh well! There's one in every crowd! |

I'm a life member and stopped coming on this site 3 years ago due to the constant changing they were doing , seems like they could not get the problems sorted out and just kept changing things . Also I live in the south and most of the content is meant for northern anglers. I tried several times to put together a Fl. chapter and had zero luck. I now find it difficult at best to navigate on this site .
There are many other reasons why i left , these are just a few .
I have met some good people on this club site many years ago and now stay in touch with them on FaceBook.
Y'all enjoy , Oh and If I were you don't bother with the life membership , its not really worth the money.Take that money and put it into an interest bearing money market fund.

Well I left because I am a trophy member and I couldnt even post pics. The forum is painfully slow and is obviously going down. Right now I am 1 of 2 members online. Out of a large bunch.
I hope the magazine keeps coming. I also see the trophy room Gone??. Maybe this winter it will pick up

My Mistake the tropyh room is still there. The Forum needs help. Right now out of a quarter million members there are 3 online.
There are steps that can be taken to speed up the forum. I suspect there is also a hosting or server issue also. Huge forums tend to have bugs and be a little slower but this is way beyond that. The database and all posts probably dont belong to the NAFC. That is common in forum land. The loss of posts and a lot of history would occur if the NAFC changed its Hosting or server.,
The advertising is also an issue. It will be hard to show an ad with a guarantee of 10,000 Impressions if there are only a few visitors daily. That means trouble. There are many things within the forum that could be removed to save space and make the forum faster. But I did get the magazine today and I am happy that it is still rolling to this point.
As a n experienced forum Admin//Advisor I would be willing to help the NAFC bring this forum back. I have a few ideas that are proven to work if used correctly.
So if the forum wants my help just let me know.

I have not had too many opportunities to fish this year. With work and lack of transportation and all. But what you said about how many members are online at one time, it shows on the bottom of the forums page who is online at a given time but that is not accurate because I have known for a fact that additional members were online yet it did not show their names listed there. Most likely another glitch. |

That is the whole point of a forum! Differing views and engaging in discussion. However, there are a few members who think they are always right and it gets kind of old. One of them, who I will not name, always posts on MY topics and tries to contradict me every time it seems. Even though he is almost always full of hot air! I will try to devote more time to making quality posts CASMAN! It just hardly seems worth the effort when no one ever responds though! |

Yeah, and the "members" on Facebook are extremely rude and hostile towards each other. Threats, cussing etc. At least this site has maintained some semblance of respect and civility! (With an exception every now and then) |

It is one of the reasons I don't frequent the Forum anymore, always the same people and a lot of bickering, foul language, and few new information. I remember the "good old days" when we got on here and actually talked fishing. Not much of that going on here anymore. And not much assistance from the Editors here either. It's just sad to see the old gang gone. Long for those days. |

Times have changed Kaiman...can't expect things to remain the same forever...Facebook is just a fad...as was Myspace. In another year or so, Facebook will be history, and something new will come along. You should try making a couple of new friends and maybe join or create fishing group or two, it's what you make of it. Maybe make a post regarding fishing, or fishing tips?? Start us on a discussion...you've been a member since 1999....I'm sure you have something of substance to talk about. |

Well...as far as I can tell...and I should know, I'm here every day...there have been two new faces here this week. One was that maniac with the foul mouth, the other, you. Perhaps the reason you always see the same people is there are only a handful of us hanging out here. As far as the bickering and foul language...that is a direct result of the maniac I just mentioned. Try spending some time here...scroll down the page past that garbage and check out the great tips buried below it! I don't know which I'm more sick of seeing...the profane rants of said maniac...or the old timers coming in here longing for the old days. Come on NAFC, remove the garbage, so that when these members DO decide to tip in, they can see something productive!  |

Well said mo , I try to come on everyday also. I've been a lifemember for almost 3yr's and in my short time here thier have been alot of changes some good and some not..But i still enjoy coming on and reading the fourms. Most of the time i learn something about fishing on a dailey bases.If not you can talk to a good group of people that enjoy fishing as much or more then i do. JOHN |

A good many members went to {1}*******s site...And that site is NOT a fad! For those of you that want good fishing info, topics and discussions, ask the editors why they destroyed all the posts! I got to tell CQ, you got a lot to learn about the old timers...We have done more for this site as far as topics and info than ANY of you newer members...Instead of asking others to start topics and discussions, try starting some of that yourselves....That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I dragged up a good bit of older topics, most of the text on the rest was eliminated by the web master when they did the changes starting in 2007...I'll see ya around the fishing hole! |

Yeah, the site is pretty slow usually but now more so than ever. I guess everyone is on Facebook or maybe they don't even know about this site. If there are new topics posted a lot of them aren't even given responses because they are irrelevant or asinine. |

Yep, I guess alot of people are on facebook. But this just looked like a fun site to join. Hope more people get on and talk fishing. I have looked through the other messages and found some good info. I wish everyone would come back! The site is dead! No one posts new topics or responds to any of them that have actually been posted and its really lame! I understand everyone went to a different site but I mean come on! We all paid good money to become Life members you might as well use the site! Wish everyone would come back and if not I hope we get a new generation of posters soon to replace them so we can once again have active forums!  |

So seems Bholes is on Life Support like this forum. The past owner has said His Goodbyes. He told the current Owners He would help them get the Forum back on track. They never replied...LOL Just like hear.....complaints to NAFC fall on deaf ears. |

I am a new member and find it confusing to what I can or can't do. step by step how to do things like chat,twitter,talk to members,entering contest and field testing. I have stumble on to some and hope to learn the rest. 58 years old not very confortable with computer skills.Like most of what i see!
