My son's cousin who has been staying up here in Illinois for the past year is moving back to the Dallas area. He's 10 years old and I just bought him his first fishing pole last Christmas. (Yes, it was a Zebco.) I took him fishing over the summer for the first time in his life and we became close fishing buddies, going almost every weekend. The kid's had it pretty rough, parent's recently divorced, Dad just got out of jail, moved around the country several times.......you get the idea. He's a really, really good kid though. I'd like to find someone in the Dallas area to take him out fishing once in a while. His mother said it was OK with her for me to post this so the family is aware of this.
