As some of you know back at the begining of September I broke my Falcon rod. I mailed it back to them to have them look at it and see if it could be replaced. Last Thursday when I got home I had a package sitting at my front door. The only package this large that I was expecting was my replacement rod. When I inspected the package I noticed one end of the shipping tube was crushed. After removing the rod from the tube I noticed that the tip of the rod had also been crushed. Mad<!--graemlin::mad:--> So I called the shipping company only to find out that to be able to send the tube back and have a claim filed it had to be picked up where it was dropped off. Well seeing as how I work I can't be here to have it picked up. They also wouldn't pick it up on Saturday because it was shipped via ground and they don't work on Saturday's. So I arranged to have it picked up at my apartment leasing office on Monday. I called Falcon to let them know what had happened but they were already closed for the day. So I called the next afternoon and talked with two gentlemen that were super nice. They apologized for what happened and said they used this company over another just for that reason because not a lot of things got damaged. I told them that I understand and they didn't need to apologize for anything because it's something they had no control over. So the last guy I talked with looked up my information and told me that he would have a rod shipped to me first thing Monday. Well I recieved my new rod today. Gladly I can say it's all in one piece and ready for me to break in this weekend I hope. My future purchases of higher end equipment will be from them just because of their service. I just wanted to let everyone else know about thier great service.
