Paul: IT is trying to troubleshoot your issue, but needs a little more info ... can you send a link to the page which gives you the "Page not found error 404" message when attempting to pay online. The IT person has not been able to re-create this error in order to troubleshoot it. -- Regards, Greg

I PM'd you the link, 'cause I don't know if the link that is giving me trouble is linked directly to my account or if it is generic.

I haven't had this problem since shortly after reporting it, thought it was fixed, but i did just discover that after paying a bill for a book I received, that the links for "Where do I find my Account History?" and "Where do I make a payment online?" ar not working correctly.  Just another in the long list of quirks that are being found.

Thanks ramseyetcs, glad this is working for you now! Indeed, Joel and his team are working hard on these issues every day (often night and day). I've been forwarding him summaries of all the issues that are reported to me, and this is the update I received from him the other day:

"Our Infrastructure Improvement project is nearly complete and has yielded great improvements. The next step in improving member experiences with the sites will be to go over the club site code with a fine toothed comb looking for what appears to be a lot of very small problems, which when added up, can be aggravating. We acknowledge the need to improve our club sites, and have every intention of working on it until our club sites provide a first class experiences for our users."

I'm going to sound like a JERK here....but from my experiences in working software QA for McGraw/Hill for 8 years...I've come to the general conclusion that the AVERAGE software writer doesn't really give a crap about anything. As a rule...they TRY to say that the "Specs" weren't accurate...or other BS thoughts.

At the same time...a VAST majority of companies both here in the US...and around the world... have cut / eliminated their QA staff.

SOME companies never had any to begin with.

MUCH of which ALLOWS them to "keep working"

    And another........
After entering the "click & win" or "gear giveaway" contests and clicking clicking "Visit the Forums" this message is received:

What are the chances of getting paid to find these errors.  Someone shold have checked all of these out before the site went active.  Working with Interactive Technical Publications, I would have been fired by now!
