Chris I have read articals and post on other forums about catching carp on a fly rod , man i bet that would be fun. I fish with medium rods when fishing for them and man its a blast on lite tackle. have you ever caught a carp on your fly rod? |

Not as of yet. I just got done building a St. Croix Avid 9' 6wt that I plan on using for bass and maybe an occasional carp. I'm new to fly fishing, so it should be interesting to say the least <!--graemlin::D--> <!--graemlin::cool:--> BTW: HBA, have you seen this site?: Carp America |

I just don't get on the water often enough,(do any of us?lol) so I want to maximize my potential the time I am there. I love the "tips" section. Just one small picture with 3 sentences can be so much more informative than a whole article on fishing a situation I'll never encounter, such as how to find fish that bite in a freezing rain in October. Know whut Ah mean, Vern? |

Give us some credit for having some smarts.

My 4 year old was looking at the mag with me one day and saw an ad for some snuff and said thats what we need to be able to fish. I had to explain that we did not need it. |

Originally posted by: Mike Aaron (Toad) on 8/24/2007 3:31:40 AM Well heres my 2 cents... I would like to see the mag. Do some interviews with Members about the fishing in their area. For instance, I live in PA. I fish a wide variety of waters, from Kinzua (the zoo), Lake Erie, Vairous Smaller lakes and rivers. I don't want to hear from the Pro's, I would rather hear tips and tricks from members. Who I feel would be a lot more honest and give poeple some good advice. if anyone has a question about the waters in PA drop me a line. As far as the Ads go. I agree with there are way to many. I'd like to see them put them all on the same pages, and keep them seperated. As for the Smokes and Snuff... I smoke and Chew already, but would rather our young people are not made think it's "cool" or OK...
Just my 2 Cents |
