The way I see it the are bitin somewhere in this country all year round and the tactics and techniques change with the seasons so why role three months into one. I fish up until the weather is to cold for me to be comfortable. Then I start looking at things for the next season so I'm ready to start aat the first thaw.
So the extra tips could come in handy during preperation.

I also agree that there should be articles on all types of fishing in every mag. While I might enjoy catching a large Bass I also enjoy catching a big *** carp and a nice size channel which either on can out scrap most bass. Pound for pound you will never beat the scrapping gill. How about something about trout which is the only commonly found fresh water fish that I have never caught.
