If you haven't done this already.....could you have an article that displays the different types of knots there are (not all, but maybe the Top 5 used)?? If you have already done so, could you re-run the article or email me a copy??

    Thank, Ricfish

Many fishermen do not use snap swivels at the lure for a few reasons. One is that a snap swivel is easier for a fish to see. Another is that they believe that a snap swivel impedes the action of the lure. I personally do not use snap swivels, but most times have a Berkley Cross Loc snap at the lure. I use the smallest snap I can get away with, and under no circumstances will I use an interlock snap. (Those are the snaps with the brass or steel sleeve that the wire hooks into). The crossloc or coast lock type of snap is much more secure and is reccommended by the editors at In-Fisherman. If the application requires a swivel (spoon, crawler rig etc) I use a ball bearing swivel about 24" ahead of the lure or bait. Tom
