i would like to know why you would print an article about someone stealing a canoe to go fishing because he couldn't afford the rental fee even though he was able to wade and fish he still chose to steal the canoe. just because he didn't take the canoe away from the general area it's still considered stealing since he didn't have permission to use it. and even after he was confronted and given the option to return the canoe he still chose to use it until someone else returned it. also for someone who couldn't afford a two dollar an hour rental he seemed to come up with the money for the jon boat. so by printing this letter i'll assume the nafc is ok with someone taking anyone's  boat that's not being used as long as you have a love for fishing.  so i guess i'll cancel my membership because i for one love to fish as much as the next guy but i can't condone stealing to fish.

what a complete waste of a good tree. wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. almost no fishing articles which is what this mag is supposed to be about not patting your self on the back.
