I was a member years ago and at a tournament I was given a copy of the magazine.... i decided to try it again and since i paid for 3 years of membership in June 2010 i have not reci3eved any thing but offers for life membership. I have still yet to recieve the free gifts or even my validation sticker. I got a billing invoice for some book I never ordered or recieved and I still havnt got a single magazine except the one I was given at the tournament that re-introduced me to NAFC. I can also say that since I signed up for this, my junk mail has increased by 200%. Is this a scam? |

If you are this upset with the club maybe you should go.I will tell you this though, you will miss out on alot of things.This club is full of great people,all they want is for you to have every resource at your finger tips. You sound to me like a man that is going through some tough times.We have all been there.When the club sends you things, it doesn't mean you have to order it.I am life member and very happy to be one.Ihave learned alot being part of this,it's a real same that you were not happy.Good luck to you. |

Have faith my brother,it will come.  The club has always done what they said,somethings take a little while.Think about it,how many members do they have?ALOT!!! So chill out your things are on the way.  |

I am a new member, and I am also new to fishing, but once I was introduced to bass fishing, like that 3 pounder I caught today during my half hour lunch break, I was hooked.So being new to all of this, you'd think I'd be bothered by some of the negative club experiences. But with all the positive and supportive feedback , I'm acctually feeling better about joining the club . I am looking forward to every thing this club has to offer. I love fishing so much that I need something that at least has something to do with fishing when I'm not fishing! ( does that make sense? )And this club is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Just joined the club. I had read some of the negative stuff and was a little worried. I have already had to contact the people who run the show because of a small issue with my enrollment payment and the free stuff they send you for joining. They responded very quickly and took care of all issues. So far so good and glad I joined. Look forward to chatting on the other areas about more positive things. I just thought I should post about a couple of good things with all the bad being thrown around. Thanks

It's all good here. If all you want out of N.A.F.C. is free stuff............Bye!
On the other hand, the magazine is as good as any, this forum is terrific,and the instructional books and DVDs are great too.
These are the things that make being a member worthwhile, not the off chance of getting "free stuff".

On the other hand, the magazine is as good as any, this forum is terrific,and the instructional books and DVDs are great too.
These are the things that make being a member worthwhile, not the off chance of getting "free stuff".

sorry too here about all the trouble you are haveing with the club. i joined ealier this year and became a life member in may things moved rather slow but i got (so far) all that i was told i would get. i also got more then i was expecting throught the forum and all the knowledge from all the other members that like to fish as much as i do . if i might say just hang in there and call cust, service too try to help good luck...... |

just remember the freebies are just to get ya to bite and buy into their stuff. the real bargain has been the forum and all the great people that do show up. yes i do put in for the draws and hoping that i win something and i have put in for product testing in hopes of getting something that would be really neat......as you can see i'm still waiting......but that isn't why i'm here.
i know to some people we act a little red neckish and pull a few legs and tell a tale er 2. but most of us just want to be here when someone is in need and try and give them a helping hand. i have found a few guys that i enjoy fishing with and there is a whole bunch more i would live to get a chance to go fishing with and someday i just might get lucky enough to do just that. |

hey im new at this 2 ithink this is nothing but a scam. look at all the exotic trips MR.PENNASS . THEY ALWAYS SEND THE MAGAZINES mid to late part of the month. it costs $273.00 per life member. wow im starting to get it |

I agree with retired-psg. Although I am new here (again) I did belong for a few years several years back. I think they had some free stuff back then but don't recall. I joined and rejoined for the magazines and now with the online forum it is about getting advise, giving advice and just the fun of talking fish. everything else is a bonus in my opinion. The annual dues are nothing really but some of the advice is priceless. I also am benefiting from the various forum since I have basically always been a Bass fisher but am looking into the pike famalies and stipped/white bass. There is a bunch of info for me to read through and see how to get started.

It's the luck of the draw. I have recieved tons of stuff from the club. But that isnt why I joined. The best part for me is those two goofballs I met in Sparta and LaCross that I go fishing with every year. It was definitely worth the money. I would pay much more knowing what I know now. :-) |
