hey ron, I won a contest worth181 bucks which included a new line out a container that holds 3 individual bait holders and a phluger reel. At present I have recieved the line and the container but as yet no reel, They tell me it is back ordered and shpuld be restocked the first of december. AS I write this it is the 12 od december and no reel as yet - go figure

If you go to the "Community" page under "My NAFC" you will see winners posting all the time...but I never heard of a prize being back ordered.

Last year, I received a test product, old timer schrade fillet knife. I received the email, that I was selected and it should be coming in the mail shortly. A month had gone by and no knife, so I called the club and they told me the knife was on back order. The product doesn't come from the NAFC, it comes from the manufacturer. So this might be the same case. Probably coming from the manufacturer

Let's do some math here and I will try to keep it real simple so you may be able to understand. You travel 80% of the time. 100%-80% leaves how much? 20%. Yea. Now how many days are there in a year? 365 except leap year which I am going to ignore. 20% is the same as 1/5th. Now try to follow this closely. That means you can divide whatever number you are talking about by 5 or multiply by 1/5. I am going to divide since it should be easier to follow. Let's try that now. 365/5 = 73. I got that number by dividing 36 by 5 which equals 7. That I put in the tens spot. That left 15 for the ones spot. 15/5=3 so I put 3 in the ones spot. So the answer is 73. Get it? That means you are at home 73 days out of the year. How long would it take to go to this site and print out a return label? Maybe 5 minutes for most people. I will give you 20 minutes to do it. After printing the label you must attach it to the item you received. You could use glue or scotch tape. I will give you 10 minutes to do that. Then you have to walk to where your mailbox is. Another 10 minutes. That is a total of 40 minutes. 20+10+10=40. Just a guess but most of us could do all this in 10 minutes or less. You have 73 days to do this in yet you don't have the time to do it?  Pardon me for laughing. On second thought don't pardon me. What a lame ass excuse. I hope none of this was too much for you to follow. I tried to make it simple. Your friend in the digital age...MrThrills.

Why put it ALL to bed? I think these are interesting comments about these test items and prizes being on backorder. I had this picture in my mind of Steve Pennaz sitting on top of a huge pile of gear running his fingers through it laughing...guess not...LOL! Anyone else notice they removed about half of NAFC=SCAM's comments...why not remove them all?  It's kinda cool the way this thread starts out with someone who can't wait to cancel and ends up with happy members talking about the prizes and perks they've received!  Maybe CQ is right, just move this latest topic somewhere else so we don't have to see all that stupid stuff every time we post.

Nah...keep it going, unless your going to bring something new to the table!

For those of you that haven't read all the msgs in this thread my post above this one was for NAFC=SCAM. When mo65 politely told him all he had to do was go to this site and print out a return label NAFC=SCAM responded with this bit of wisdom: "Great for you...I travel %80 of the time and would not be able to mail this garbage back. So{1}**** you mo65, Id' strangle you with your 30yr old trilene fool. Then put it in you r ol'lady's a$S this."  Apparently time management isn't one of his best skills. Anger management could use a little help too. Never stop learning.

Well Mr. Thrills, I didn't exactly tell him politely what to do...but I was responding to his vulgar profanity...some of which has since been deleted. Why would they just delete some comments and leave others up? To be honest with you, I would prefer they delete the whole stinking thread! Well...maybe leave the comments about the prizes and test items, those are interesting. This thread has been a point of arguments since the first day I joined the club...and long before that!

That's kind of why I was saying we should put it to bed mo. It's been an avenue for negativity for far too long I believe. And I agree with you all the threads NAFC=SCAM created should be erased too.
