I fish freshwater snook in SW Fla. and have a leader dilemma.
With arthritis, it's hard to to 40,50# leaders. Especally at night when I do the most fishing. (don;t even think of turning on a light after dark in the backwaters SW Fla.). I'm not into self-sacrifice.
I've been using Sevenstrand 27# leader. The diameter and weight are good, but it kinks and curls terribly greatly reducing action and tip sensativity.
Tried a coated wire but the bulk really limits lure selection when trolling in
4-6' of water with weedy a bottom.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
