I have tested the four hooks you have sent me.
I have been fishing for over 50 years, A closed hook can be regged many was, this hook can only be regged one. It is not easy to reg in the dark,it is built weak and cheep. I am a life member I use to recieve better test items before I become a tester.
Now I see that I have to reregister each time I test A new item. Is this the way you treat your life time
members.??????? |

This is not the place to post a product test report, the report goes to the club on a form for that purpose. If you would just like to share with other members, the best place to do this is in the Tackle section. The forums can be confusing to someone who is not used to them. Sorry to hear the hooks don't work very well, it sounded like a great idea for old guys like me with poor eyesight! Tom Lifer in NE Illinois |

Contrary to what many members are reporting, I too received the easy2hook package, and this is not a field test platform. The club simply sent these items out randomly, I contacted the club and was told not to worry, I was not going to be asked to refile or update my profile for field testing. I have been a member for a few years now and have never received any field tests, I figure this is a perk and am patiently waiting for my turn. If I would have joined the club for the field tests I would be disappointed, but you have to remember that it is a "PERK". I hope everyone feels the same way as me, this is a great club if you use it as informitive and a place to share ideas. Good luck fishin everyone, don't sweat the small stuff. |

I myself recieved the 4 pack of easy2hook , hooks as a field test with the field test form , sounds like some members recieved these hooks as a promo. i am a life member , and i enjoy being a member , field testing is just a perk . i like the forums and i am getting to know some of the other members , their is friendly and informitive people that are members , to me that is the best perk , yes the free stuff is great , but free stuff does not make a club. LIFE MEMBER , Larry . happy fishing......... |

from patrick gaghen member no.65475546. tested easy to hook size#4 and#12. idea is great however i found the shank of the hooks to be too short.hook shanks need to be longer to make it easier for those of us with big fingers.knot is easy to learn however. |

Just an update to my April 23rd post about the hooks. Turns out that these hooks are a product test and the club did not want to tell us that right away, for whatever reason (you figure it out, 60cents worth of hooks as a product test?). The intriguing part of the product test is that if you look in your member handbooks it states we (lifetime members) are guaranteed one product to test each and every year we are in the club. It took me about 6 months to get my hands on a lifetime members handbook, but trust me it is in there. Good luck with your future product testing. |
