Having been upset by the lack of response by THE EDITORS to my last Post here as well as the lack of response by THE EDITORS to many other NAFC Members post here ......

I've been reading all the responses to all the subjects in this "ASK THE EDITORS FORUM" and the few that do have helpful responses are questions answered by other Members, NOT the Editors or anyone else from the NAFC staff.  Thank God We have each Other..But There are forums to ask each other about anything...I thought.....(here's a realy,realy  dumb idea.)....that this forum was to get direct answers and response to our concerns from THE EDITORS!!!!!!  And hopefully have them shine some light on our concerns VIA THE MAGAZINE or WEB SITE..Am I the only one who sees the TITLE of this  forum as  a MUTE POINT??????

Good question.  I'm a Life Member and have been a NAFC member since 2003.  I signed up on the web-page shortly after it went up and according to the account information on the top left corner of the pages, I'm listed as a"Club Member (Pending Email Verification)."  I have written, emailed and phoned the club for assistance with this.  I even posted on the forum way back when this first came up.  Absolutely no remedy.  I've been told the problem would be fixed "within a week", "as soon as possible" and "the computer is down, can you call back tomorrow?"   Nothing changes.  It would be nice to see my status as a Life Member on *my* clubs web-site.  But, I don't think there is anyone who's job it is to pay attention to members concerns regarding their online experiences.  So no one bothers.  This is such a small thing, but if they can't sweat the small stuff, how well will they do on the big stuff?  ***I do hope an editor reads and responds to this.***

I think this forum could just be eliminated since the editors never respond and any helpful responses come from other members. That said, my opinion is that this forum could be absorbed by the "ask a fisherman answers" forum. Just my thoughts for what they are worth.     Happy fishing.

I agree, I have posted a question on this thread and never recieved an answer but "Mr. Ed" never answered.  Maybe we need to be posting to "Francis the Talking Mule".   Or maybe the Ed. is a MS and hasn't  let us know yet.   Maybe MrMystery is right.

Obviously, this is not a monitored thread unless the editors are just sitting back laughing at the futility of our actually trying to connect with them in any meaningfull way.  I notice that when I post it has me listed as a member since 11/2007.  Funny, my membership card says member since 2003.  The only time I have ever gotten a response from the club for whatever reason, my issue wasn't addressed.  I guess we should be grateful we get a magazine and semi-functional website.  The editors don't seem to figure we are worth more than that. 

Hey I got an e-mail from the NAFC today.........Funniest e-mail I've gotten in a long time...they said I was Nominated to be part of "The Inner Circle" as a Full Time member! WOW, what a treat! Now I can pay more and get less! When I first joined the club I was going to become a lifetime member right away but decided to wait a while and see what it's all about first.....Sure Glad I Waited....Don't get me wrong, I have no regrets of joining and I've made many friends here... I'm NOT KNOCKING any Full Time Members, or any other Members for that matter but for goodness sake don't we deserve a little more than this poorly managed web site? Guess they don't think so...

as far the editors that claim this site - it is lame and a big money racket, I haven't received one cent worth of my money here- I'm with you its moot-very moot - but for some reason there are some very dedicated members - apparently  this club WAS a nice place to be but no longer can they say that with confidence! I'll bet money the editor (s) cannot deny that statement. Can they, A!! HOLES. They are more than likely sitting back at home collecting our money laughing at us enjoying their nice rigs which happen to be more than likely a nice Ranger with a 250 h.p. on it - -   thats o.k. I work hard and have a little 16 ft. Astro with a 175 that will FLY. I dont need this site. Oh yeah editors theres a 2008 Tundra pulling that 16 ft. boat. I hope you all enjoy your big money that you are ripping off from real people.

if'n you look closely, you'll see that a lot of us have been members since the middle of November, 2007.   That's when we had the meltdown and the "new and improved" board and site went active.

I have been waiting to log on with my Life Member status for almost a year. I can't get into the contests or anything because it says I am a registered guest since 1996. That is when I became a life member, not a registered guest. It has been saying my membership has expired and I can't do anything on the site now. I wrote to the club 74 times and still nothing has been done. Nice Huh?

I would bet that no asshole from the staff, especially not any editor, at this so called club will respond to me here either will they??

Been like this for over a year now. Bout time to seriously think of seeing a lawyer. Maybe a class action lawsuit will get a response.
