I spend at least 6 hrs trolling for salmon on Lake Michigan every week, and 70-80% of my fishing hours are from shore. The term Bank Fishing to me conjures up an image of a bunch of fisherfolk standing in one spot on shore with 12-20' poles fishing for either carp or panfish. Not my cup of tea. I fish bass, walleye and northern from shore with reasonable results and occasionally land an incidental cat. Shore fishing to me is much more of a challenge! More shore fishing articles please!
