Taking your kids fishing!

I take my 3 and 5 year old boys fishing, my 7 year old daughter hasn't really got into it, but I don't hold that to her. When we go to one of the bigger lakes they have a blast just catching the 2 and 3 pounders. I took them to the farm pond where I know the big one is waitting to bit something! My 3 yr. old caght a couple of 2 pounders. BUT! My 5 yr. old caught his first big bass. He pulled in a 5.5 lb large mouth and he didn't know what to do for a second. Then it hit him! He needed to do some more fishing. Passing on the outdoors of hunting and fishing to our youth is the greatest gift we can give them. Keep the lines wet!
