    I tasted my first whitefish and it was delicious. It was baked, cajun-spiced, and the meat was very tender and flaky. This was a restaurant meal in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, called the Docks, and they serve locally caught fish from Lake Superior and region. Fish being caught now are steelhead and walleye in the area. Oddly, there were no bugs to speak of.
