went fishing yesterday on the ohio river. I was useing cut bait,and fishing bottom. also useing my nafc rod and reel, spooled with 12 lb. test.

All of a sudden i get a nice bite, i grab the pole and wow this thing is bending the pole way down  and a takeing a lot of line. I set the hook and the fun started. I was sure the way the pole was bending something would break before i could see what i had on the hook. after 10 minutes of pulling and cranking i  landed a 25 lb leatherback turtle.

That was a barrel of fun any time. My legs and arms where shakeing from all that fun. what a blast. Still would have been nice if that had been a big oh cat. I don't know wich one would have fought harder ?
