I was reading the 45 things that every fisherman should do in his lifetime. I have created my own method of fishing. I call it the Kelly Method of Drowning Topwaters. I take a Lindy walking sinker, a bead, a swivel, about 3 feet of line, a snap, and then a lure such as a Heddon Torpedo. This method takes the topwater bait a little under the surface and produces great results! The topwater bait should have a v-shape or rounded nose. Don't use a chugger type. |
