Lil sisters First time fishing!!!

    I took my little sister out fishing for her first time. And as we got to my favorite fishing hole it started to down poor. She says to me "I don't think we will get anything cause it is raining" I told her not to worry, that we will catch a fish before we are done for the day. So She cast her line out, and it only went about 6 feet out. I casted my line out and it landed way past were she first casted. So she tried casting over and over again to get her line by mine. I told her you dont have to be out far because you dont no were the fish are for sure so she let her line sit there for about 10 min and i reeled my line in and told her that i was sorry that we did not catch anything. And she asked me for on more cast out. I told her yes. So she casted out and it went about 10 feet or so. she let that red worm sit for about 8 min till she gave up. As she was reeling in something started to pull i told her you have a fish on. So she reeled it in and the most amazing thing i have yet  to see fishing. She caught her first fish by a loop from another hook. the fish must have swallowed a hook and the hook was stuck in the fish and she landed a 13 3/4 brook trout. Now everyday since school has started she calls me up and says to me do you want to go fishing.


    I think this is a story to hold on to forever. Thank you to the one fisherman that cut his line and made my Lil sisters day!
