i was fishing at lake thunderbird in oklahoma and decided to set a few jugs i baited them with perch and shad i came back the next morning to see one of my jugs standing up i made my fastest launch ever and headed for the jug i got ahold of it and started to pull the 20 ft of line up it came up easy at first but as the fish neared the surface it rolled and dove i decided to let go of the jug and its a good thing i did because the line jerked tight and the jug went completely under i followed it a little ways finally getting hold of the line again and pulled the fish to the surface again after about 15 min i saw the fish it was a huge catfish the biggest i ever caught i finally managed to get a stringer through his mouth and wrapped it around my han afraid he would tip my 12ft canoe finally paddling with one hand and holding the fish with the other i finally mad the shore finally hauling the fish compleatly out of the water he later weighed in at 47lbs the biggest i had caught befor that was 35lbs i also caught a 5lb largemouth on a crappie jig the same morning it was a great trip
