New to club, and as always the first thing i do is troll the forums for the complant dept and low and behold there always seems to be one " figure that" and it always seems the same problem,
no ones giveing me free stuff, no one replyed to my e mail 5 min after i sent it, why is my name not in lights why, why, why hell iam happy to be here and no they did not send me a 2012 Bass Tracker to test out would be nice, but if they did i would not have time to read the fantastic artical here. but the one thing i do find very funny is all the conplants i see and the ones i read ,and no i dont read them all some are just to stupit for me to waist time on just remeber this we all dont get what we think we should and or some tears will fall, most of are happy wth life and the lack of free thing thats we should get and dont ........ but remember one thing we all signed the check with or without reading small print and we have survived it.
if i never get a free thing from the club i will still be happy in my endeavor to get the biggest fish and i ill read what i can to help me be a better fisherman and i will not sit and wait for the mailman to deliver free stuff for me to test, ian sure with all the members the club has, some people do get overlooked iam sorry to hear about all the stuff you did not get
iam here to stay and happy to be here

PS the Bass Tracker would be nice !!!!!!!

This north American Fishing club and the Hunting club, for that matter, seems to going down hill fast! If I wasn't a life member in both I sure wouldn't send in any more money.

Ive been a member since 09 and I also feel that it has gone downhill. I was expecting to feild test poles or reels or something. They just kept sending me line. Now, I don't get anything.

All well, I enjoy chating with all you guys anyway. Although this site is still pretty crappy, it sure beats Facebook. I can't stand the BS that people talk about on that site.

Would rather talk about fishin' than finding out my buddy made a sandwich for lunch.

It seems that lately every time I log in here another something has stopped working. Of late I find I can not use the 'add reply' or edit buttons. I don't even want to think about posting a picture!

Basswhisperer, if you'd like to take part in a much more active forum, visit www.outdoor-fishing.com. Signup is free and there are a lot of giveaways going on right now. Please mention that "bass or bass?" refered you. Happy Fishing!

Yeah Tom, this site has become a real pos!

Kinda seems to ME that you stated just yesterday in another topic on here that you had NEVER bashed the NAFC forums.

It seems I stand corrected. My frustration isn't necessarily directed at NAFC itself so much as it is at whoever runs this site. Many problems with this site and I'm sure you will agree with that.

Well said B or B...and as long as this neglect by the club continues...so will the garbage that has plagued Active Topics the past few days. We had some great topics going last summer...Turnip's "Who caught a fish today"...the Fish Tie thread...I miss logging on and seeing those...lately its like the Jerry Springer Show.

The simple fact is that all of us PAID to join this club. I have been around long enough to remember when A) Things worked B) Most members could be civil and C) most of the discussion was at least fishing related. Look in the forums. The average 'age' of a post is somewhere in the vicinity of 6-8 weeks (don't quote me, just a rough estimate) and if things are so wonderful here, why is that?

Thank you for admitting that...and your honesty

I ONLY come here for the Forums...so if there are issues with the main site etc...I don't spend alot of time on here looking for them.

At the same time...I will NOT let your OF "buddies" continue to trash this Club & site...and MY topics in particular.

I've been on here since 2001...and through the years I've seen a loudmouth or 2 come through here doing the same types of things.

ALL were eventually kicked off of here.

I can't deny that I wasn't warned a couple of times about things I said on here...but at the SAME time...MY loyalty is to the Club...and will REMAIN so.

Just as I am an infrequent LOYAL member of YOUR site

Thanks Dave. It's much nicer to carry on a civil conversation (and easier on the blood pressure to boot) don't you think?

I can't tell you how many times I have to hit the reply button, then the return button, then the reply button (and sometimes completely log off, then re-log in) to post a simple reply! Doesn't anyone maintain these forums to make things simple for us to post and reply without unnecessary hassles?

For instance, just making this post, after entering it, the site froze up with just a blank screen. I had to log off, then back on twice just to be able to edit this post to express my frustration with the inefficiency of the way this site operates!!!

Since you've seen a couple of posts of mine concerning the website software  and what has happened to me...I'd LIKE to think that you have a better understanding of the situation.

Having worked in software QA for over 10 years...I still don't understand what you mean by the "return button".

IF you are using the "back button" on the Browser bar, you will be better off just pressing your F5 keyboard key (refresh) or clicking on the "Refresh" button up on the IE bar.

I tried to post a reply to your :Basic tackle box" thread just now. I went back and forth from "reply" to "return" 8 times. Couldn't post a reply. i logged off, then back on and tried again twice to reply. The site still wouldn't let me reply. This is my frustration and discontent with this site.....as I stated before, it's not necessarily with NAFC, but with whoever "maintains" this site. AARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was refering to the back button. I'll try your advice next time I'm having a problem and see if it helps. Thanks.

We shouldn't need to be internet wizards to use this site.

Actually...the "back button" doesn't work well on many websites.

You are better off to Right Click on a link on a webpage, then click on "Open In New Tab".

why are you using the back button on your computer? to view your post or go to the next post

I just type my reply in the quick reply box thats on the bottom of every page and hit submit .. on multipal page post like this one after you submit your post it will reload to the first page of the topic this post has 4 pages to see your post you need to open the last page by clicking on the ( red # page 4) above

once that loads and after reading your post if you want to edit it simple click on the pencil right side of the post it takes a few minute for your post to apear edit it and re-submit click on the last page again to reveiw it no need to togal back and forth with your back button

if you want to view or comment to another post don't use your back button just click on ( active topics ) the top left side of the page below the header it takes you back to the active topic page

One more thing the edit feature only alows you to edit your post when you post it !  it's only available for a couple of hr and then you cannot edit
