Just a question and maybe a bit of a gripe, but has anybody had thier favorite fishin hole over-run with weekend tourneys?I would not mind so much if they didnt clog up the ramps and about swamp still or trolling boats while flying through full throttle. My fishin buds and i always throttle down and give plenty of leeway when overtaking other craft. What ever happened to common courtesy?

Yeah I hear ya. There are a few lakes around here that get that immense tourney pressure.  I usually avoid going to those lakes on those days like the plague.  As for the Courtesy issuses you mention.  It seems that some of these guys have a sense of entitlement, or as if they own the lake on those days.  I think Boating and fishing courtesy starts early in your days as a fisherman.  It seems to me like a new breed of people whom I assume were not taught such people skills have emerged recently.  I was lucky to have good friend turn me on to fishing and school me in some of the little things one can do to display some Common Courtesy.  I will go out of my way to be sure that I don't step on anyone's " Fishing toes".  I think this sometimes will make newer people  become more aware of their good habits in the future.   Lead by example!  We can't change everybody, but we might at least change a few.
