I fished that lake 10 years ago and you can catch just about anything there. Bass, trout, catfish, you name it, it is there. The lake is located in a cool enough area to hold trout all year long but warm enough to have a good population of bass and catfish. Walleye fishing was also good there. As for Zebra mussel, as long as you drain your boat well and allow it to dry before you drop the boat in someplace else, you will not have any problems spreading them to a lake that does not have them. Zebra mussel are a problem but they can not live out of water. As long as you boat is drained and then allowed to dry, there is no problem. If you drain your boat well, it takes less than a day for the small amount of water in the hull to disapate on a warm day. Mine is always completely dry before I even get it home after pulling it out of the water.

Fish the lake, you will have a lot of fun and the fishing was always good. If one species is not biting, there are plenty of others to target. you will always catch your limit of something.

thank you for the Info. Im sure I will have fun. I have a friend who said I should put some bleach in water and run that through the engine when I flush it, but Im not sure if that would harm the pump or seals. so I think I will stick to just water.

    Thank You
