    i have posted this at a few other threads but thought i would post it here.
    can fish tell if you smoke and does it matter ???? if so how do you remedy it while bank fishing ?

    Personally I think that it does matter if you smoke while fishing, smoking leaves a chemical residue on your hands which touch the line and lures you use.  You don't notice it because you are used to it but ask a non-smoker to pick out a smoker in a group and they can everytime.  The residue stickes to your skin and your clothes.  The best thing I've found to help this(aside from quitting) is use smokeless tobacco if you can stand it.

    I have found that if you have that metal bar of soap that removes the fishey smell from your hands that works but i've been smoking and fishing and have had no problems even when i forget to us the bar. I don't think it makes a diffrance.
