I was up at Lake Lanier in Georgia this weekend and landed not a largemouth (since they are almost gone up there) but a nice 6-7 pound striper on a 4 inch silver shiner on a down-line off the dock. It went 28 inches but we didnt get to weigh it officially. I also landed a nice blue catfish that i didn't get a photo of. The next day, down at the docks, i was usin live blue gill on the down-line and hooked a good 6 pound spotted bass (it was HUGE for a spotted bass)... but it got wrapped around a dock cable and slipped off the hook... only to come back and play with my friends bait before swimming off into the deeper water..
