Hello - my name is Jason, newer member to the NAFC, i'm planning a big canoe float trip down the buffalo river in arkansas. We are putting in right around Harriet AR. I am totally unfamiliar with this river and am looking for some information about the river. We are floating roughly 44 miles over 5-6 days. I would really appreciate any information or sources of info that anyone can throw my way. I believe we are floating the "lower middle" part of the river until right after the confluence with the White river.

Wondering what are the primary types of forage, species of game fish, must have lures to use, etc... any help would be greatly appreciated.
