well my plan was a success! i made some 10" worms out of scraps of other worms. its really cool! i just took my woodburner (walmart, $8) and i'd touch it to the insides of the two halves to melt them then while theyre still sticky stick them together then just fuse it around the edges. heres what i made:



the top one i took one of those worms i was describing earlier (turns out theyre made by riverside, not culprit) and i cut the tail off one and fused the body to the body of another. MEGA SENKO!!! lol. for the middle one i just fused two 5" senkos together at the tick ends. for the last one i cut the tails off two powerworms and fused the bodies to each other then fused the tail from the very first worm on it.

Ooops, I didn't get my 3 bass into here. I caught all 3 of these bass on June 1st in Clear Lake, CA wacky rigged senkos. The largest one was caught at night and weighed 6# 2oz. The other two were caught throughout the day and weighed in at respectable 4# 4 oz. and 4# 10 oz. My family and I also caught countless bass under 4# that day.

i have a feeling i'll be doing a lot of that though. good problem to have - that's what this thread is all about - catchin' the big 'uns. it will be updated above to include your hawgs. even better, since you caught the fish this month, your 6-2 is now leading the lunker of the month category!

wtl - when did you catch your 6? i never saw a date. maybe i just missed it. if i did then i apologize. remember, to be in the running for "lunker of the month" the fish has to be caught within the given month - in this case june '07. if you caught that fine bass this month, i'll be happy to enter it.

david - i started this thread because it was something i thought would be cool to do for and with all my friends on here on the bb. i will always be happy to help contribute what i can to help us all become better at targeting and catching bigger fish. but i don't want to enter my catches because i do not want this thread to be about me or my fishing in any way at all - i want it to be about y'all and celebrating your successes.
