Well, seeing how I only get 1/2 hour for lunch every day, I decided to make the most of it and I hit the local canal. I literally fished for only 6 minutes, and that was enough time to land a 3-1/2 lb. largemouth on a topwater frog. It is actually kind of a miracle I got him in since he hit on the northern edge of a weed bed and became entangled in the thick stuff very quickly. I maneuvered around to the west bank and pulled, prayed, and sure enough he finally broke loose and was amazingly still hooked. Anyway, that sort of made my day. I'm happy.
