so I fish the St. Johns River near Blue springs this weekend from 1st light to about 8am there was a school of some really big bass chasing shad (or some other bait fish) all over the main river. these bass were on top I would see shad jumping out of the water and the bass right behind them
the fish have been schooingl in the low light hours for weeks now and i have managed to only catch one on a "devil's horse"(I think that it was a reaction strik)
this weekend I spent most of the time following the school around trying to get a good cast in but i was unable to even get one
so I was woundering if anyone has some advise on how to catch these fish ?
    thanks in advanced
    Richard
