Found a 4 piece steel rod with brass ferrels at a garage sale, looks like an ancient pack rod. says South Bend on the blank. Anyone know when this might have been produced? I've never seen anything like this before, and I restored many rods before. seen steel rods before mostly baitcaster type. This one is a spinning rod, has cork handle and a metal reelseat.
