Wow, there are some nice boats guys! For the past 10 yrs I've been fishing from an old aluminum 16' lone star. At one time it had a windshield and a small cabin on it too, someone removed all this though. Its a tank really, ha, all my kids can go to one side and it just sorta lists a little but its stable and over 6 ft. wide. I lost the 50hp Johnson this spring so Its currently powered by a mighty 4.5 hp Johnson sea horse and even though it looks kinda pitiful on the transom of this big boat it actually pushes it fairly decent. I'll see if my son can help me put a picture of it on here later, maybe you can get a chuckle out of it!! Avid outdoorsman NE Indiana |

I just traded in my 1990 Quantum Fish n Ski for this new 2008 Ranger Reata. 18'-6" w/ a 150 HP Merc Optimax, 70 lb 24V Minn Kota, Lowrance up front and two Lowrances in the cockpit. Had it out twice now and even caught a few fish out of it. Wish I had a better picture to show you, but I couldn't zoom wide enough with the camera. |

Mine is a 17.5 wetliner superhawk with a 115hp merc (I love lots of gas) 2 stroke. Wrap around windshield (won't have another boat without one) Plenty of room to room to roam around in. |

I have two, only one of which is I'd still be able to put out on the water at this time:
• 11' Coleman Crawdad Ram-X jonboat
• 9' Classic Accessories Colorado inflatable pontoon boat
The Crawdad used to be towed around on a trailer when I had a truck fitted with a ball on the bumper, but the bumper rusted out and had to be removed before it could break off. I had to get rid of the truck last year and have no vehicle which can tow the old trailer at the present time.
The pontoon boat can be loaded into my dad's truck, but I've found that the bed is too small and the whole thing needs to be disassembled to fit in. I used it once or twice since then but would rather have something which requires minimal hassle and can be more readily transported to where I can put it in. For that reason, I've been looking at a couple of options.
In time, I hope to at least get a decent aluminum boat up to 17' for use on more than just local ponds and lakes (I'm aiming for upper bay tidewater, larger lakes and rivers where live - northern Delaware within easy driving distance of the Chesapeake and the rivers). |

Just traded in a Wellcraft 1994 Eclipse 182S. Not really made for fishing. Now have a 2010 Nitro 189 Sport with a Mercury 115HP Optimax. Can't wait for ice off to get it in the water.

Well I have actually 4 boats, but 2 are ready to use on the water! The first is a Matthew 16.5' semi V fiberglass, it has a 50Hp Yamaha and 70Lb thrust Minn Kota Edge 2 depth finder - Eagle & Hummingbird. The other one is 10' Pelican pontoon, useing a Minn Kota 55 Lb Thrust and a Hummingbird depth finder. The other 2 boats are a TomBoy tri-hull 15', No motor have to repair the transom, bt it from a man that said it has no problems, the motor that was on it was a 35 Hp Mariner long shaft needed work, sold it! Then the other is a 14' Grumman Semi -V , has a 25 Hp Evinrude manual start and steering. I bought this one from a man stated that he couldn't take it out on the water due to no drain plug on the boat. His grandson tossed it ou one day while mowing the lawn. I did a complete make over and put carpet new wires, benches with padded seats, live well and storage areas and depth finders front & back. On the maiden voyage at my local lake, I was out on this lake about 15 -20 min's. Then I was sinking, started to head back to the landing, but the OB wouldn't start and I had to use my T/M back to the ramp! <a href="http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/?action=view¤t=100_0512.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/100_0512.jpg" border="0" alt="right corner view of boat"></a> <a href="http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/?action=view¤t=br10e_lg.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/br10e_lg.jpg" border="0" alt="Pelican 10 E Bass pontoon 3"></a> <a href="http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/?action=view¤t=MyNewlyPurchased15ft-12-3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/MyNewlyPurchased15ft-12-3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/?action=view¤t=br10e_lg.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss234/Dennis102298/br10e_lg.jpg" border="0" alt="Pelican 10 E Bass pontoon 3"></a> Fish Safe Today, Because Their May Not Be a Tomorrow!
