hello fellow members I spent the afternoon on the mississippi river and no luck till the winds layed down now heres a question I was fishin with stink bait cut bait and night crawlers just seeing which would work now ive got fish surfacing all around me but all I can see is their tails they look like cats but these things are huge now the river is way way up and its temp is 65 Im casting with the current but my lines keep coming all the way back up river against the current and i keep pulling in mussle shells could I possibly be pulling these out of cats mouths I mean I thought my poles were gonna break each time one of these hit but then whatever they were ,would let go and out pops a mussel shell. in my 32 years Ive never seen anything like it but I could not get one in.this ever happen to any one else
