I know Catfish like to respond to many flavors and smells. I know they like sugar as I have seen folks buy the GUMMI WORMS and use them as bait, and they work. Cool<!--graemlin::cool:-->

I was wondering if someone has ever tried some kind of Chocolate bait at them? Confused<!--graemlin::confused:-->

I was thinking of trying to thread several plain M&M's with a thin needle and eye through the center on a string and wrap it around a long hook shank, or taking a hook with a sponge or hollow plastic thing and fill/soak it, with Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.

Don't know if I should try this in still water [ponds]
or slow water [small creeks streams]

or try it in faster moving water [rivers and released water below dams]

I would think Catfish [or something else] would check out the smell/flavor for sure.

If it did work, it would be amazing how many baits one could make out of a [1] lb. bag of M&M's, or squeeze plactic bottle / or can of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Big Grin<!--graemlin::D-->
