I'm just curious if anyone else still takes part in this activity. I myself still do. I was wondering why so many people find it so un-just. I mean, I go to a local creek catch my own bait fish... get in a boat (oar boat, no motor), indiviually tie the hooks, bait the books. I don't put out more than 10 limb lines, and then I return to my spot, fish through the evening and then return to my limb lines once it is light enough. I put a lot of work into it, so I feel as if I earned it just as much as I do when I watch a fish on a rod and reel. Another question is trotlines, while I don't agree with trotlines as much, mainly because I feel I don't have to work as "hard" or spend as much of my time to set it out, it is an awesome site when you pull up on your boat and see that lines bobbing 7 or 8 feet into the water from the weight of the fish moving. However my question is why so many people speak out about this type of fishing.... just curious though, not trying to "stir the pot" lol
