    hey is there anyone who can tell me where to find a map of the james river from lynchburg to appomattox ? I want something like a gps map or anything showing water depths if there is such a think. any help would be greatly appreciated . also i don't have a boat so i can't use a depth finder to map out the river.  anyway thanks

    Most of the electronic maps are very thin on river depths, probably because they fluctuate so much. I think your best bet might be the USGS Map Store, most of the maps are free. Tom
