Hey gang, i would like advice on what i can do to improve my s/w fly fishing. my setup is an 8' 5/6 weight rod pfleuger medalist reel wf8f line 7 1/2 ft9# leader 200yds 20# backing flies; deceiver deep minnows bendback shrimp.
Is this adequate or should i improve my arsenal?
I can cast fairly well, spent the winter practicing. would welcome any and all advice, especially for casting for distance.
i'll be fishing mainly for trout, some flounder, but mostly trout)
