    I went out for about an hour and a half to get in some casting practice. It's been a while since I held fly rod and it really showed. The first hour was pretty ugly (bad timing and somewhat sloppy). I was starting to get worried but I smoothed out some during the last half an hour. I took Bear with me (our family dog) and I hope I didn't embarrass him too much in front of his city park dog friends. Red Face<!--graemlin::o-->

    I would love to blame the fly rod or the line for my struggle but it all boils down to me not getting in enough practice time. I'd better change my ways or I'm going to have a very tough year. Then again--maybe I should have used another rod with a new line. Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->

    Naw--it was me. Red Face<!--graemlin::o-->-----JCT
