    Hey, I was just looking at a book that I bought when I first started fly tying. It said that you can use dryer lint for dubbing! It seems like it will work, if you twist it really well. Also, you can use super fine steel wool for gray dubbing, it might rust after a while, but I've tied lots of flies using steel wool for dubbing, and it work exelantly!
