Hi All,

I am having trouble learning how to cast my fly rod. I can line in the water and I catch a few fish. However, I want to learn how to cast for distance to get to those hard to reach fish. What I don't understand is, how much line do you start with on the water? I am used to casting a spinning reel with the line reeled in. I know this sounds like a dumb question but I am new to fly fishing and really enjoy it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. <!--graemlin::confused:-->
