LIGHT CAHILL WET size 12-18
ROYAL COACHMAN WET size 12-16
BLACK GHOST try sizes up to size 4 forlarger trout and down to 12 for pearch and panfish.
GRAY GHOST best for landlocked salmon and brookies size 2-10
MUDDLER MINNOW the one fly to have large sizes to 1/0 for big trout fished dry in sizes 8-12 its a grasshopper imitation
BLACK WOOLLY BUGGER fish slow and deap with lots of twitches in sizes 4-10 especialy for rainbow trout and smallmouth bass.
CLOUSER MINNOW size 4-10
HARE WATER PUP authers favorite is purple on a 1/0 hook
CLOUSER CRAY FISH importent for smallies but will also take stream trout especaily large browns that feed on crayfish.
HAIR BUGS make shure thier tied with a wide
gap between hook point and shank so the flys material wont interfer with hook sets. HOOK SIZE 2 or 6 is common.
POPPERS hard bodies wide hook gap sizes 2 (big fish ) 6(medium size fish ) and 10 (small fish) there are meny more but this is what the auther recomended.
another good idea is to look for a hatch chart
for your area or state you fish in .
go to like google and type YOUR STATE or state you are going to fish hatch chart EXAMPLE minnesota hatch chart(s) some will even give you recomended flies to imatate them .
