I got a new canoe for my 16th birthday and I'm planning on going bass fishing in a small pond Saturday. I've tied up a few divers, top water, clousers, coyotes, and a few blue gill immitations. Does anyone have a good lizard or frog patterns?
Fishing and baseball are alot alike. Everybody has their good days and everybody has their bad days. Only the best learn from both.

    make a crease frog .

tie on at rear of hook
make a set of  legs : green antron yarn  or you could use rubber or crystal flash  tie a small knot in material  and leave a bit  for feet now go a few finger widths wide and tie another over hand knot
do a loop over  method  so leg material is centered  evenly over  the thread then make a few wraps
figure eight through the legs to separate them

now take a square piece of craft foam  and   go corner to corner with it  make a triangle  tie it in buy a corner    now fold  it over the hook shank  and  super glue the foam  as you would for making a crease fly  now if you want to add eyes  i used quilting pins and a black sharpie and cut them down
so there was only a small amount of shaft  remaining and glued them in . then cut the bottom of the foam  to shape .
i will see if i still have one around some place to show you  .  but no promises .

    just the frog .

the pencil popper is just that  a sharpened pencil  tied to the top of the hook shank wrap the thread
all the way over the pencil  then coat with epoxy  i just used finger nail polish

    the patriot is a size 2 -4 x hook
Tail  tie in two red hackle feathers on each side of hook shank  curves facing in
now  tie in a zonker strip  (rabbit hair strip ) on top of the  hook shank  facing rear of hook make a few wraps  then lift the strip back and make a few more wraps  then advance the thread to the front of the hook  (hook eye )
now Palmer the rabbit strip forward  and secure
tie in a marabue  feather buy the tip  wrap the feather  around the shank  like you would for a wet fly two wraps no more then three . tie in a blue spade hackle feather buy the tip and do the same thing .

the earrings  i just used raffia  i tied in  a strip of green raffia  and then  twisted  the raffia
and let it furl (twist back on it self  then cut two strips of pearlecent raffia  and figer eigted them in
then took green dubing and dubbed  the thorax .  front part of the fly where wings are atached .
then took a sharpy and  made markings on the wings
