i have a danvice true rotary also . for the money its a good vice .
a few things they fixed with it was they make an extension  jaw  which gives more access from the back  but for around 85 bucks its  a nice vice.    once you get to learn how to use the rotary feature  you will love it .

Thank you all for the responses. I have been using the vises that came with my Cabelas Deluxe Tool Kit and the one that was supplied with the WASPSI Deluxe  Fly Tying Kit now for 2 years. They have served there purpose well and its now time for a new one! Yes I have been looking at all that is offered   and glad to see a positive response to the DanVise. Looks like its the contender. Thanks again for info and insight.  John

the only draw back to the danvice  for me is the accses to the rear of the hook itself
but  like  i said they did come out with a extended jaws  . i have not yet got this for my vice .
