At the end of August 2010 I'm going to these places and want to do a lot of fly fishing. I've never been there so I have a few questions I hope I can get answered.

What type flies to use that time of year in that area?
Will I need Spiked boots or is Felt good enough?
Will I need Waders at all, or is the water pretty nice at that time of year?

I'm flying out so I'm shipping everything ahead of time and just want to be prepared. I'll be camping while I'm there.

Any other advice anyone can give is appreciated.

Donnie I'm not familiar with that area but I would check with local outfitters in the area that you're going to, they can be a lot of help with local conditions and what type of flies are popular in that area. Are you using an outfitter? If you are then they can recommend What equipment you may need another source is the County or State DNR.
