This is a way to make a cheap fly tying box Materials: Altoid box (or a box or contanier like it), a material to hook flys in, and glue. 1. Cut a peice of material the same shape as the can (do this two times)(try to find sherpa craft fur with webbing on the bottom) 2. Glue a peice of material to the top and bottom of the can 3. Let it dry This is a fast and easy way to make a fly box that works well.

I was looking back through mty old issues of NAF and came accross an idea in the tips and tricks section. Use an old eyglass holder just add foam. also those little boxes that are used to sort your medication for the days of the week work well for fly's you don't want to keep in a foam lined or ripple box. They are cheap, the lids snap closed well and each compartment has its own lid so you don't need to worry about your fly's doing a flock of seagulls impression in the wind.
