Why is it that some lakes that are good walleye fishin' all summer (Marks lake close to Thunder Bay) and are legendary for not producing in the winter.
I have always felt that the fish must be there and have to eat, and I have been trying to prove it, but no-one who camps out there reports more that the VERY occasional walley in winter.
Does anyone know why this is???
