Picked up some South Bend "Big Ice" tipups at Wal-Mart last week. Not a bad price 3 for $12.95. So I get 2 pkgs. get them home and discover the line was wound on the reels BACKWARDS. "OH Well" I said (actually not quite what I said) <!--graemlin::rolleyes:--> and proceded to fix it. That over and done with I decided I didn't care for the small dark red vinyl flags on 'em so I took a spray can of fluorescent orange paint laid the flags out on the work bench and proceded to paint 'em. I come back in about a half hour later and all 6 flags are curled up like dried leaves, all stuck to themselves and stuff. <!--graemlin::eek:--> Paints still tacky. I pin the corners with clothspins and let them sety overnight. This morning they're STILL tacky <!--graemlin::mad:-->. I also do R/C aircraft models so I took some sticky back plastic trim Monokote and cut squares, sandwiched the offending flags between 2 squares of trim sheet and THEN painted those with the fluor. orange paint. I'm pleased to report that it worked. <!--graemlin::D--> If it isn't one thing its another, know what I mean? <!--graemlin::confused:-->
