Good morning one and all, I am not new to this but some may find my name familiar yet distant. It is that time of year again to pack up the truck, remebering not to forget my long underwear and boots, and head north from Indiana to the great North Woods of Northern Mn. To ice fish one of the best walleye lakes I have ever know, Shagawa lake, in Ely, Mn. has anybody been up north doing and Ice fishing this year? I am curious to know (since I am really a beginner when it comes to fishing through a whole in the ice) if anyone has been doing any good through the ice this year. Or even if anyone has travelled up to the northern parts of mn, this frozen season yet?

    as always,
    The WalleyeGuy_12
